this is the page where i'm supposed to tell you about myself. where do i start and what should i (not) tell you? at the risk of this sounding too much like a personal ad, here goes...
when it comes to photography i have minimal formal school training (BS in business adminstration, minor in art), but two years of professional training working for Tim Flangan of Solas Gallery.
my efforts to avoid doing weddings lasted about ten minutes. i've continued doing them (and loving them) since i was first sought out in 2005. (thanks johanna!)
i like to capture the heart and beauty of people. "my style" as they call it is all over this website...see for yourself.
like an excellent musician who doesn't site read, i photograph with purpose and skill but not always by following the technical rules.
at any given time you will most likely find me behind a camera or working with the high school students at church.
those are my loves, that's what i do.
